Square cut swimwear that won’t let you down. XTG Pax Swimming Trunk

Getting to review a new pair of men’s swimwear when the weather is beautiful is both a blessing and a curse. Sure, reviewing swimwear when it’s raining makes it difficult to conjure up images of sunshine and holidays, but on the other hand sitting at a PC writing a review when the rest of (well it seems that way) the world is out enjoying the sunshine is a bit hard to bear. Never mind, these XTG Pax swimming trunks are at least giving me a link to summer, even if it is a tenuous one.

Anyway, enough of this complaining about being indoors and back to the swimmers. These XTG Pax trunks are pristine white with a contrasting blue and white striped waistband. The waistband is somewhat reminiscent of the pattern on deckchairs, further reinforcing the summer theme. Don’t worry about these swimmers being white though; they are fully lined so you are not going to overexpose yourself when they are wet. You also don’t have to worry about leaving your swimwear floating on top of the pool after you have dived in. The waistband also features a black tie cord so you can make sure they are nice and secure.

The square cut shape makes these swimming trunks particularly flattering. They sit right on your hips (rather than higher up on the waist) and have a decidedly sporty feel to them. If you’re not into ’Speedo’ shaped swimwear but don’t want to wear shorts then square cut is the way to go.

Finally, XTG have used a special fibre in the manufacturing process for their swimwear. The fibre has been specifically developed for swimwear and makes it more resilient and less likely to lose its shape.
