When I wrote about the Andrew Christian ActiveSlim with show-it technology (read my review here) I didn’t think shape enhancing underwear could get any better. Once again I underestimated Andrew Christian’s innovative ability and his intuitive insight into what makes great men’s underwear. The waistband on the EFX brief features the extra wide 7 in waistband that reduces the appearance of your waistline by up to an impressive 2 inches. Great for hiding those unwanted bulges. But, being and Andrew Christian piece you can rest assured it will not hide the important bulge.
They key question, of course, are; “is it comfortable” and “does it work”. In keeping with all underwear companies the models they use to show off the underwear clearly don’t need any artificial support to make their waistline look better. It’s down to us less toned guys to give an unbiased opinion. Well, I’m pleased to report that on both counts the Andrew Christian EFX brief earns a resounding yes.
The waistband does feel a little unusual and the first time you put a pair on you may spend a little time getting used to it. But, stick them on under a close fitting t-shirt and check your profile out in a mirror. Impressive, yes! Wearing a pair all day, or more likely all evening if you are dressed to impress should cause you no comfort issues.
The anatomically correct pouch allows you to hang free just like you were going commando. The pouch is designed to allow you to wear them with no sticking, squashing, re-adjusting, sweating and chafing.
