Cock rings are becoming increasingly popular, more men are wearing them and more people are talking about them.  There are certainly lots to choose from. But let’s face it; cock rings are not exactly the subject of polite conversation now are they?

If you’ve never worn one how are you going to find out how to put it on?  Typically they don’t come with instructions and I’m not sure it’s something you would want to ask your friends or family.

How do I wear a cock ring.  I mean, how do I get it on?

The first time you try a cock ring I would recommend you do it on your own.  Take your time and take it easy.  If you stick by three golden rules you should be ok.

Rule 1:  Never try and put on a cock ring while you have an erection.  You will hurt yourself.

Rule 2: If it hurts STOP.

Rule 3: Balls first!

Rule 2 is the key. This is a sensitive and important part of your body.  While a little discomfort is not unusual the first time you put on/take off a cock ring, real pain is BAD.

Ok, so health warnings over.  To put a solid cock ring on you must first gently push one of your balls through the ring.  Once that is through you carefully, and gently, push the other ball through.  This may take a little time so take it easy.  Once you have both balls inside the ring you need to ‘point’ you penis through the top of the ring and either push it through, or pull it from the other side.  Once you are completely inside the ring you need to pull it towards your body as close as you can.

Job Done!

If it hurts then the ring might be too small for you.  Take it off gently with the aid of some lubricant.

How do I get it off again?

Taking a cock ring off is just the reverse of putting it on.  Take it slowly and carefully.  You may want to pull the cock ring down and away from your body a little, just to give you some room to work.  Then, while holding the ring with one had, pull your penis back out of the ring.  Then simply (gently) push one of your balls back through the ring. With only 1 ball left inside the ring removing it should be no trouble at all.

What size do I need?

The most common size for a cock ring (that I have seen) has an external circumference of around 8inches.  That’s probably a good size to start with.  But, as you get used to wearing them you may want a more exact fit.

You need to get yourself a thin strip of paper, a bit of string or similar.  Starting at the top of the base of shaft of your penis (as close as possible to your body) wrap the paper or string round, under your balls and back to your penis.  Do not pull too tight, but then you don’t want it too loose either.  Mark the point where the paper or string meets them simply measure from the end of the paper up to your mark and divide the result by three.  (So if you have measured 8 inches you are looking for a 2 and 2/3 inch ring)

Why wear a cock ring?

I can think of three reasons:

1.  Think of a cock ring as jewelry.  You wear rings on your fingers…  Some people wear them because they like the way they look.  Simple as that.

2. The enhancing effect.  Depending on the size of the ring, some cock rings actually push your balls up and forward.  This makes your bulge look bigger in underwear or swimwear.  I know for a fact that a certain magazine insists that all its models wear cock rings when posing in underwear or swim.

3. Enhancement.  When you have an erection your penis fills with blood.   A cock ring impedes the flow of blood back out of the penis.  For some guys this can mean a bigger or longer lasting erection.  Some also find orgasm more intense when wearing a ring.
