Yes you are right, Diesel does seem to stick to the front/centre for its logo, I wonder if it is because there is typically a seam at the back of the waistband which would make it difficult to ensure the spacing of the letters in &quot;Diesel&quot; is even across the seam?
There are one or two examples where Diesel has produced boxers with a repeating Diesel Logo right the way round the waistband - the logo would therefore be visible from the back, sides and front when you are wearing your low waist Jeans.
